Another Turkey day has come and gone. To some people Thanksgiving is about eating, and to some its about the football. Then again to some its about being with family, to me its about all of that but more than anything its about giving thanks to those things and people who give me things to be thankful for. First and foremost I am extremely thankful for my family. It wasn't too long ago I couldn't stand them, everything they did annoyed me. Not because they did anything wrong, but because I wasn't ready to accept them for their greatness. My sister Tiffany is a wonderful woman and brings a smile to everyone she sees, especially that Biyotch Bredek..................for the record, those are some crazy biyotches!!!! My little baby brother Brian isn't so little anymore, full grown and living in Hawaii. Making a stand and getting away from Volcano to find out who he is, for that I respect him and love him. My parents are pretty typical, Dad and mom argue with the best of them. However, they love each other and at the end of the night you can always tell how they care for each other (by the way she puts a blanket on his snoring ass and turns the TV off). I have a great family and I love them to death, so for them I am thankful.
I am extremely thankful for my friends, I know this is going to be hard because I am going to forget someone so in advance I apologize if its you. My homie Mike who might as well be my twin brother the way we think alike and have the same sick sense of humor. The similarities we have had in our lives are downright sickening at times and I know if I ever needed anything he would be there for me as I would for him. My buddy Steve is so much like me its sick, we have a lot of the same views and ideas about life. We used to fight and bicker but we used it to strengthen our brotherhood. I love my cousin Katie like a sister, I would do anything for her and will always be here for her, as I know she would for me. My main man Lydell who I have known for almost 9 years is a great friend, it started along time ago when he used to tell our boss at target he couldn't go get carts from outside in Dec because he was African and they were a tropical people............(I literally cried from laughing when he said that). He has moved all over the place in the last 8 years or so and we have remained friends throughout and I am thankful for the bond we have created. My man Kev Vegas, when I met him what a square, but I rounded the edges and he toned me down some and now look at us. We have been through so much it would put most people to sleep, but I love him and will always be the riley to his huey!!!! I have so many memories and thoughts to be thankful for from so many friends like Ben "real deal" Bruneel, gone are the days of the Stockton slo pitch league but I will remember them forever. Along with the great times at Stan St. with good ol Jim Prohs, Ben is a true friend. My buddy Nate who came to stay on the couch for a couple weeks like 4 years ago, still haven't got rid of him. He has his quirks and makes his share of mistakes but don't we all, and when it comes down to it. He is a great friend, one that I would like to give a noogie until he made better decisions but a good friend!!!!!
I have a ton more friends like Rob, and Tony, and Jeffe Smith who I have been friends with for a long time and am thankful for the impact they have had on my life. Not to mention the special girls in my life like Annie, Lindsay, Carrie, Nikki who in their own way make me a better person. I love you all and cherish what you have all brought to my life, and in this holiday season I am thankful for our relationships.

'Tis the time of year we all sit down and pounder the great things in life and what our life has a accomplished or what we want to accomplish. I agree we with the greatest cuz-cuz in knowing that the friends you have around you through thick and thin are the very most amazing people a person could ever have. You realize the friends around you are who you really are... we may a product of our environment, but we ARE who are friends are. As the 'ole saying goes "birds of a feather flock together" . . .it is by far the truth. I love everyone who has made an impact in my life, and WHO is in my life . . . thanks for always being a friend! AND rememeber "you always got a friend in me!" (I'm such a sucker for Disney) Love to all and Happy Holidays!!!

Thanks for the shout out on my blog, good to hear from you! Ahh, the good ol' days at Hilpert High where the football team still has a perfect record and the school newspaper continues to set the English language back by fifty years. And then, of course, there's the description-defying experience of the scent of turkey crap wafting across campus in July. We'll be in the 209 for about 2 weeks starting tomorrow, so I'll holla at ya soon.
